DESERT ADVENTURE:
An introduction to God

In the Desert Adventure of God for Kids app you’ll explore:

• Who is God? First, meet Rü, your narrator and guide. Put the ‘God-words’ in the treasure chest and opposite words in the rubbish bin and then open the bible for the first time. (Key Verse: Psalm 103:8)

• God is Invisible. How can God be both real and invisible? Explore all sorts of real, invisible things. If you like this one, we’ve written a book to explore ‘Invisible God’ even more, called: “Why Can’t I See God? Eve’s Question” available here. (Key Verse: 1 Timothy 1:17)

• God Feels. Three things that make up a person are thoughts, feelings and volition (also known as free will or the ability to make choices). So here we explore the fact that God has feelings and briefly look at what kinds of feelings God has. (Key Verse: Psalm 145:8)

• God Thinks. We have imagination and intelligence and can figure things out - what kind of thoughts might God have about children? (Key Verse: Mark 10:13-14, Bonus verse int he Grown-Up Tips: Psalm 139:17)

• God Chooses. Have fun making choices and discover an important choice God made a very long time ago… (Key Verses: Genesis 1:26, Bonus verse: Isaiah 42:1)

• God is Good. At the heart of God’s character is His Goodness. (Key Verse: Matthew 19:17)

• God is Love. For the final stop on the first adventure we discover how much God loves us and introduce kids to the core gospel message of the Bible. (Key Verse: John 3:16)
