SPACE ADVENTURE:
GOD IS BIG

In the Space Adventure of God for Kids app you’ll discover:

• God is Big. What are some of the biggest things you have ever seen? God is bigger than them all! (Key Verse: Acts 7:49)

• God is Forever. What does forever mean? God is like a circle - He has no beginning and no end. He’s been AROUND forever! (Key Verses: Psalm 90:2)

• God is Strong. A house of straw, a house of sticks or a house of bricks - which one withstands a storm? Which one is God like? (Key Verse: Proverbs 18:10)

• God is Everywhere. Where would you look to find a bird’s nest? What about a snack? Or even God? Is God on earth or in heaven? Let’s see what the Bible says... (Key Verse: Psalm 139:4-9)

• God Knows Everything. We all know some clever stuff but what about things we can’t know? Like the future or what others are thinking. Does God know about those things? (Key Verse: Psalm 139:1-4)

• God is Kind. Sometimes people who are big, strong and clever can be scary but God is also very, very kind. See how God looks after those He loves. (Key Verses: Jeremiah 31:3; Exodus 14, 16 & 1 Kings 17)

• God Keeps His Promises. No matter what, God always keeps his promises. We can decide to listen and obey or not but God will still do what He says He will do. (Key Verse: Numbers 23:19)

• God is Family. Introducing the idea of the Holy Trinity! We decided to introduce the trinity like a family - Father, Son and Spirit at the baptism of Jesus - three persons, one God. One family. Yes, it’s not perfect (almost every explanation of the Trinity is flawed in some way) so we explore the trinity further in both the Jesus Adventure (Jesus Shows us God) and the Holy Spirit Map (Holy Spirit is a Real Person). • God is Generous. Generosity is a practical way to show love. Explore the different ways we can be generous and then discover how God loves us so much that He gave us something very precious indeed. (Key Verse: John 3:16)

• God Never Changes. Seasons change, people change, hair colour changes but God never changes. Can you remember all the things we have learned about God so far? (Key Verse: Malachi 3:6)
